In Stanley Park
Sightings:
First observed in 2003 at the northeast corner of Lost Lagoon.
Frequent sightings of numerous individuals in 2004 along the north side of Lost Lagoon in riparian vegetation and grassy areas.

Ochlodes sylvanoides front view Ochlodes sylvanoides side view
Wing Undersides:
Orange-yellow
Hindwing usually has a broad , indistinct yellow band
Ochlodes sylvanoides top view Ochlodes sylvanoides back view
Wing Uppersides: Lack any white
Orange with dark markings.
Male: Elongated black marking (stigma) on each forewing with an oblong dark spot near apex
